Gut Health and Gut Dysbiosis

How to make sure your stomach acid is not causing a host of other issues

Last week was the first week in QUITE a long time I haven’t posted a newsletter.

But I’m so glad to be back with Olivia discussing gut health. This is her area of expertise, and one I’m super curious about.

I think you all will love this episode.

Gut dysbiosis, or the dysregulation of our microbiome due to semitoxic materials in our food, water and medicine supply, is very common.

It leads to a whole host of problems stemming from inflammation: upset stomachs, headaches, bodily aches, sickness, and even disease.

While its downstream effects are more correlative than causative, it’s not hard to see why pesticides, antibiotics, and other agents on our food can cause dysfunction internally.

Olivia recommends searching for whole foods, washing and cleaning your produce, taking steps to limit or even avoid gluten, and testing with labs to see if there are intolerances that should be monitored.

There’s also a list of produce items that gets released every year, which I’ve written about before, that provides information on which items see the most contamination from pesticides and herbicides like glyphosate.

Enjoy!
